whats in singapore?

While i was in singapore last week, i realized they are quite different.

Besides their no nonsense government unlike ours, the too good MRT, and super spotless city, there is more which i think can be a comparison point.

Carparking in Singapore is like...finding gold.

-Uncle Andrew(Joel's Uncle) gotta wait like half an hour just for a car to vacant a lot, and I think tiong bahru plaza have the smallest carpark for a shopping center.

The sakae sushi que there is like the que at the immigration department in Malaysia.

-People love sakae sushi there. Sakae Sushi there have long que. Here? No, not short que. Its NO QUE.

Singapore government stress alot on job opportunities.

-Never fear of retrenchment, the singapore immigration checkpoint have the most lanes than any immigration checkpoint that I have ever seen.

Singtel have powerful promotion and advertisement than all mobile service provider combined in Malaysia.

-to check bus status, singtel user just have to key in a certain figure and send it to a certain number, and a message will be delievered back to inform on the current bus status, its free of charge. But other network user is charged with a fee. POWDERFUL, the strategy of good promotion. Malaysa's companies loose to them hands down, legs up. DIGI using DUCK instead of YELLOWMAN. HAIH.

Australia education cannot compete to Singapore.

-If you from singapore go australia study, people say you cannot make it in singapore that's why you go. But if from Malaysia go australia study, people say GOOD, VERY GOOD.

Singapore being a SAFE city and TERRORIST-FREE.

-Singapore custom checks through all your bags and you go through a metal detector when you are entering Singapore as though you are entering the airport. But Malaysia checkpoint metal detector has no officer to handle. HMMMM.

Singapore is technology dependant.

-Malaysians with car go into Singapore find for location depend on the Map bought from petrol station. Singaporeean with car find for location got GPS unit. FUIYO.

Singapore is Wi-Fi liao.

-Singapore City center to be wireless by the end of 2008, Kuala Lumpur City to be wireless by the end of 2010? WHY SO LONG WAN.

Laptop damn common.

-Ordinary 14 year old singaporean with personal laptop consider normal, 14 year old malaysian with laptop? "The family rich what!"

Safe Taxis..

-3am take taxi in Singapore, your life is guaranteed. 3am take taxi in Malaysia, your life is at risk. And for girls, you are in the mid of loosing something important too.

HDB very nice.

-Their HDB below got coffee shop, got park and got facilities. Here even apartment below got NOTHING.

*Their Sakae Sushi even got delivering service!
